Treat airport assistance and the road journey separately
Zurich Airport offers its own VIP services, including arrival assistance and a handover to a personal chauffeur or designated pickup point. A road-transfer booking with Airportcab does not include that airport service. If you have arranged it separately, tell dispatch which service is involved and provide the coordination contact. Avoid describing an ordinary transfer as an aircraft-door pickup or assuming that your chauffeur has airside access.
For private aviation, start with the handling agent
Private-aviation passengers should obtain the correct terminal or handling-location address from their operator or handling agent. Send that address and a current contact to dispatch; the public arrivals hall may not be the right place. Ask the agent where a landside chauffeur may meet the party and how arrival changes will be relayed. Aircraft movements can change, so use a confirmed operational handover rather than a location guessed from the airport's name.
Agree who tells the chauffeur that the guest is ready
The passenger, assistant and airport representative may all have different information about arrival progress. Choose one contact to tell dispatch when the party and luggage are ready to leave. Confirm whether the representative brings the guests to the car or meets the chauffeur at another permitted point. Include the complete luggage inventory and any equipment so the selected road vehicle suits the journey after the airport handover.
Carry the coordination through to Davos
Share the hotel address, first appointment and any agreed intermediate stop with the transport team. If the airport service changes the landside pickup time, ask dispatch to reassess the onward schedule. Airport assistance does not guarantee road conditions, access to a Davos venue or a particular arrival time. Request separate written confirmation of the road-transfer fare and any waiting arrangement, and keep the airport-service confirmation with the person managing that booking.
Questions about this journey
Does my chauffeur booking include Zurich Airport VIP Service?
No. Airport VIP assistance is a separate service. Tell dispatch if you have booked it so the landside handover can be coordinated.
Can the car collect me beside a private aircraft?
No airside collection is promised. Obtain the permitted landside meeting instructions from your handling agent and share them with dispatch.
Who should update dispatch if the aircraft arrival changes?
Nominate one operational contact, such as the assistant or handling agent, and provide a number that will be monitored during arrival.
